Still Life (abstract #2)
Still Life (abstract #2)
1999, ink monotype print on paper.
The original abstract illustration was created using the monotype print technique of hand-pulling a drawing using printmaking ink on glass, then transferring it to paper. Created with pigment alone and applied to the smooth glass plate, it produces a very limited number of original prints, in this case just three. The reproduction is printed on Hahnemühle's archival mould-made fine art paper with archival giclée ink, faithfully reproducing the original intention of the piece. The surface texture of the paper provides a dimensionality that enhances the effect of an original work or art.
OPEN EDITION: 10×14". Signed and dated on verso, Open Edition prints are affordable, archival, and made with the same attention to detail as Limited Edition prints. They are a great alternative to the casual collector and are very high quality.
FRAMING: 10×14 aluminum picture frame, black colored frame.
