Frequently asked questions.
How do Limited Edition and Open Edition differ ?
Limited edition and open edition art prints differ primarily in their quantity, availability, and potential value. Limited edition prints are produced in a specified number and a numbered certificate of authenticity. Once that number is reached, no additional prints will be made at that size, enhancing the artwork's exclusivity and value. Open edition prints have no set limit on the number of copies produced. These prints can be reproduced indefinitely, making them more accessible and typically more affordable than limited editions.
How are my prints delivered?
Prints up to 16x20” are delivered flat in a sturdy kraft Stayflat envelope. Larger prints are delivered rolled and protected in a cardboard tube.
How long does it take to receive an order?
OPEN EDITION prints are created in-house and ship in 1-3 days.
LIMITED EDITION prints are made by direction with a premier professional printer. Once payment is received, it takes 8-14 days to receive the print.

What is a Gelatin Silver/Silver Halide print?
Palatine silver halide darkroom processing is a traditional method for developing photos that uses light-sensitive silver halide crystals. This technique provides precise control over image exposure and development, resulting in rich tones and high-quality prints. The process starts by exposing photographic paper to light to capture an image, which is then developed through various chemical baths, including developers, stop baths, and fixers. The final prints highlight the unique features of traditional film photography, like depth and texture, attracting both artists and fans who value the skill involved in darkroom work.
What is a Giclée print?
A giclée print is a high-quality reproduction of an original artwork using a specialized inkjet printer. The term "giclée," derived from the French word meaning to spray, refers to the method of applying ink to paper or canvas. These prints are produced using archival-quality inks on fine art paper, providing vibrant colors and a wide color range that closely resembles the original artwork.
